About us
The University of Dubrovnik is the lead institution behind the HI EU – Croatian Initiative for the European Union in Schools project and a key player in promoting EU education in Croatian schools. As a modern and dynamic higher education institution, the University of Dubrovnik is committed to improving the quality of education and strengthening cooperation between academia, teachers, and the broader community.
The HI EU project is implemented by the Center for Research of Digital Transformation (CREDO), the University of Dubrovnik’s research center dedicated to interdisciplinary research and the development of innovative solutions in education, economics, and social sciences. CREDO specializes in projects that connect digital transformation, public policies, and educational innovation. Through initiatives like HI EU, it contributes to the modernization of teaching methods and empowers educators in developing curricula adapted to contemporary challenges.
Our team consists of experts in economics, education, European integration, and pedagogy, working on the development of teaching materials, training programs, and strengthening educators’ capacities to teach about the EU.
The University of Dubrovnik actively participates in numerous international projects and is part of a network of European universities that promote lifelong learning, digital transformation in education, and enhanced international cooperation.
Through the HI EU project, the University of Dubrovnik and CREDO continue their mission of providing high-quality education that meets societal needs and equips young people to actively engage in the European context.
